So one of my young hens injured her leg (probably flying off the roost). I've separated her in the coop for about two weeks but let her out to eat with the other hens. She hops around and eats and drinks fine. No visible injuries or bumble foot. No breaks that I can feel. I can extend her foot and her claws and I do see her put it down to lean on it when she eats. Should I just continue what I'm doing? I do some gentle range of motion every day so the leg doesn't freeze up. Will she eventually heal?

Last year I had a hen who injured her leg, I kept her separated for 6-8 weeks in a dog crate. I was waiting for her to completely heal but that didn't happen and she has a permanent limp. She's get around perfectly fine and is happy.
I would still keep her separated and make sure she doesn't have anything to jump on. I was giving some B Complex to my hen to help her out, so that wouldn't hurt to do. I did also give some aspirin (low dose, 81mg) to help with any pain.
