Hen has Sour Crop Help me understand how to treat

Hello well she didnt make it. I really didnt think she would she was so week but I had to try and hopefully I learned a little so maybe next time I might be successful. I think when I squirted the water and epson salts down her throat I probably got it in her lungs. I didnt understand that I was not to put it down her throat it needed to go into the crop which would have required a tube down her throat. Well hopefully someone else will learn from my mistakes. I really appreciate all the help and good wishes. Terri
