She is 4 months old eating and drinking normally. She has no respiratory distress symptoms. No discharge. I was able to get some solid white stuff out today. There appears to a bump/growth of some kind. Her other eye is perfectly normal. Thoughts? I tried rubbing gently with Vet RX and a bit of vetricyn around the eye area. Not sure what else to do for her. Got her yesterday and she has been in quarantine. The eye did look like this when I picked her up but I had assumed it was a pecking injury.😔

Does she have any odor, any mucus from nostrils or the beak, or is she sneezing or gasping? A swollen eyelid and gunk in the eye could be from infection in the eye, or a respiratory disease, such as MG or coryza. I would rinse the eye twice a day with saline or an eye wash, and apply some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin ointment.

No other symptoms. She’s feisty and energetic. No mucous or sneezing so far. 🤞

Apply/clean with, witchhazel 3-4 x a day w/ a cotton swab or Q tip. If it doesn't show signs of improvement on the end of the 3rd day, have your vet get you some erythromycin and/or oxytetracycline. Great antibiotics to have on hand for pretty much all issues w/ chickens eyes.
Wish your bird well.
