Hen hunched over and looking sick! Please help!

Sorry that took so long...post pictures from an iPad is tricky.

She did eat a little egg and I saw her take a small sip of water.
I agree with Kathy....looks pretty normal. I would get her hydrated and fed well. She may be being bullied away from food and water and needs to get sustenance into her.

Sorry for the slow reply. My girl is still alive, but doesn't seem well. She does eat enthusiastically when I offer scrambled egg, which I take as a good sign. I have read all the articles shared here. I really think that my hen has/had a broken egg inside of her. I am hoping that she can escape any bacterial infection and recover on her own.

Is she losing weight?

I'm not sure...don't have a scale. She seems about the same today, eating, but not walking right and just doesn't look healthy. We'll see...

My bird looks better today...not 100%, but I'm more confident that she will survive. When we let her out of the "chicken hospital" for a little walk today she walked better and flapped her wings like she felt better. I had a chance to inspect her poo also and it is looking more normal, no more raw egg, yolk-like goo. Yay!

I'm so glad to hear! I was hoping to hear good news. My girl is back with the group as of late yesterday. Like yours, definitely not 100%. Still a little slow but much more alert. I kept the electrolytes in the water and offered some greens and oatmeal to everyone to encourage her to at least eat something.
I hope your girl continues to improve!
