hen injured by dog

Hopefully, with the BluKote, they will have a hard time finding an injury. I'd try putting her back, because they always seem to prefer being with a flock. She will likely have to return at the bottom of the pecking order after 3 days out. You'll just have to see how it goes. Sometimes you can put BluKote on a really minor wound to cover the scab or tissue and never have to remove them. I've done this with a small toe wound, as soon as it quit bleeding, for example.

i think i will put a good coating of BluKote on her and let her out in the yard with the others this afternoon and keep an eye on them. hopefully it will all go well. i really don't like having to keep her by her self, i can tell she doesn't like it.

it looks like everything is good. she has been back with the other hens for a day and a half now and i can't see any signs of them bothering her. i'm going to guess that she is healing well and is going to be just fine. thanks for your help with this.

You done the right thing, Nothing more you can do just keep an eye on it,
