Hen is always squaking. Why?

Is she the smallest of the bunch (or the lowest on the pecking order?)

Our smallest is a 'constant' chatter-box. The ONLY time she doesn't make sounds is when she's stuffing her beak with the treats we bring!

Otherwise, it's non-stop noise....happy-ish noises (kind of a sonar for the other hens?!), but noises none-the-less.
