Comb redness, hackle & saddle feathers, and crowing.

Redness and crowing, yes.
Hackle and saddle feathers won't emerge until 3-4 months old.

Just wondering why my rooster (rip) had such a huge comb and large wattle when he was 7 1/2 but snowflake only has a red head with no comb? (snowflake is the white chick)

different breed... no pullet will have red like that at 7 weeks... also to the OP I would not wait. it is a boy for sure, and you might be turned in if he is crowing.

they were the same breed I haven't heard her crowing since yesterday morning. But yes I am trying to get in contact with the teacher. All our neighbor's know about the chicks. Most of them are fine with them. The one neighbor doesn't really know its illegal but yes he would probably complain if he starts crowing again. And the neighbor only said "Oh wow cool" when he found out... (but he's known to say one thing and do another if you know what i mean)
