Hen is expelling white mucus when picked up.

Help! My nine (ish) month old hen occasionally expels a white mucus when I pick her up. She has been handled regularly since a few weeks old, and so despite being the least friendly of the group, she isn't skittish and so I'm guessing it's not due to fear?

What on earth could this be?

She had diarrhea for a while, but after a suggestion on here, that cleared up with probiotics.

Any ideas are welcome, thanks!

Has she ever been wormed? What's her diet? Does she lay?

Yes, she was wormed a few months ago, and has been laying for longer than that. She is on layers pellets, however I can't remember the brand. Hope that helps!

Yes, she is still laying and is acting her usual funny self. She was wormed with Flubenvet.
