This is the second egg I've gotten with a hole towards the bottom about the size of a pencil eraser. Inside the hole and somewhat on the edge is a hard crusty material. Should I be concerned? Is this normal?

Yes they get oyster shell several times a week and we also collect all the eggs every morning. It could be one pecking, but the reason I'm not sure is the hole is so perfectly shaped.

Is it a lump or deposit of calcified looking material? Or is it dried egg?

The egg's "hole" is in the shell and not pass the membrane. The "crust " is brownish orange . The hole , in both eggs , is on the large or bottom side. It reminds me of a burn mark.
