Noticed my hen limping this morning. Haven’t noticed this before. I checked both of her feet, from what I can see since she’s all black no bumble foot. Anything else come to mind? I’m going to get her ivermectin just in case it’s leg mites but maybe an injury? Wish chickens could talk!!

Do you have photos of her and her legs?

If she has Scaly Leg Mites, that would be fairly obvious and the scales of the legs and feet would look raised and crusty.
Vaseline, Oil or NuStock cream rubbed up under the scales of the legs/feet will treat SLM, the Ivermectin is not that necessary.

How old is the hen and when was her last egg?

She’s only 8 months old, she laid today. It seems to be her right foot I just checked it again in sun light don’t see any bumble foot and leg mites. Here’s some pictures

She may have sprained it, hard to know. If it's not getting worse, then perhaps monitor her for a few days to see if it's getting better.
Hey, just curious what ever happened with this. I think my young hen is in the same situation where it could be an injury.
