Hen is throwing up

When I was watching my chickens this morning, one of the white hens started spewing this brownish mixture of corn and laying mash that looked like mud. To make things worse, the rooster came over and called a few more hens over to peck at it, including the one that made the mess! I'm wondering if mud in the water (caused by a temporary guest duck) could cause this, and if it's anything to be worried about, as she seemed fine afterward.

Hi, you may want to do a search of the archives on "impacted crop". I have a hen with one and she sometimes throws up.
