Hey guys
One of my hens (Audrey) keeps getting sour crop, shes had it on and off for a couple of months now. She could go days with a normal crop and eating and drinking well, and other days her crop feels like a water balloon and she vomits some fluid up. I dont have access to an avian vet as the only one I have is away on holiday. One day her crop is fine and the next is full. I have been giving apple cider vinegar in all the hens water and food is fresh and kept in a dry location but dont know whats going on? I thought if they had sour crop that they would get progressively worse not better some days? Any one have any idea? Shes currently in a seperate coop tonight as she placed her self there and going to withdraw food and water again and hope she will be okay. Going to give small doses of apple cider vinegar water tomorrow as its going to be very hot. Any advice?
Thanks x
