Hen keeps sneezing.

Just after letting them out, they’re all sneezing now... I suppose the medication won’t prevent it from spreading but it will help the ones that have contracted it. :hmm
1st egg of today looks normal, I haven’t noticed any swelling.

She laid her egg, finally!
This is the hen that was effected the most.
Shell is hard, no wrinkles or bumps. Its a pity we can’t eat them

Did the vet give you enough medication so you can treat the whole flock's water?

I'm sorry to hear that they are all sneezing now.

I did say the amount of chickens I had and he said to put half a teaspoon of the powder into a gallon of water every day. There isn’t much of it though, it’ll probably only last a week.

I would want to raise chicks with this going around. IB is much more serious on chicks and young pullets than adults. Those chicks would become carriers and perpetuate the disease for another year. IB is said to make survivors carriers for 5 months up to a year, depending on which authority you read. Waiting a year to hatch chicks would be wise.

I can get them tested to see if they actually have that though, right ?
Such a pity, was planning on breeding them this year.
I also have already paid over €100 for 20 lemon Pyle hatching eggs to arrive in June :hmm
