Also some specimen from the Partridge Plymouth Rock. And especially Orpingtons. I once had an entire flock of 5-6 hens go broody. It blew a whole breeding season out the door for my orps!

I definitely dont need any more broody chickens haha. My flock of 9 javas either have chicks, or are trying to hatch chicks. It started with 1 broody and now they all are. My only eggs now are coming from my 7 sexlinks and 1 amber white chicken. Glad i have those sexlinks. Not a maternal bone in their bodies
