Noticed yesterday morning she wasnt as active to be let out as the others. I noticed bit of soppy poop stuck to her bottom feathers. Shes jsut started laying, i also got a new young rooster that is his fav girl atm, and she has wry neck sometimes. Just shakes head up and down i dont think she can see well. Anyway I looked closer bit later on in day, she still was slow and her bottom underneath poop hole is huge. So i removed her from pen but her in other yard less stressful, this morning check where she slept there a tiny bit of blood on an egg membrane in the nesting box, with lil bit runny poo. I didnt see the yolk. I dont know how to fix her, i put her in warm epson salt water, she didnt want to stay in it. Now shes drinking heaps of water but doesnt want food. Bottoms or stomachs still big and hanging. Idk how to fix her
I dont have phone to take photos atm

I doubt there is much you can do for her. If her abdomen is "huge", it means a raging reproductive infection or ascites from liver failure. These are not successfully treatable.

There is a chance that I'm misinterpreting your description of her condition. In that case, she may be suffering from a stuck egg. There is something you can try for that. Give her a calcium tablet, the kind women take to avoid osteoporosis. One pill right in her beak. If all you have is Tums, give her one of those by breaking it in half and giving both halves. This will stimulate contractions so that a stuck egg can be expelled.

I hope your hen gets better. :hugs
Thanks me too, shes doing runny poops but is walking around slowly to different spots in yard but not nearly as active or curious, the yard is big not much to stress her. Ill try find something for her to eat with calcium maybe. shes not really eating

Do you have Tums? Or does your mom take calcium supplements? If she's egg bound, it's an emergency.

I think its woman miltiv not just calcium, there is a magnesium bottle. My family drinks lots of milk i dont think they concerned. oww and mum uusally lots of chocolate but we got her to cut back a lot

I think ut's calcium citrate that's needed. Wish someone could go get a bottle of Tums .. but I'm off to bed. Good luck with her! ❤
