Hen layed one egg and stopped

We have an Aracauna hen that is now over 7 months old. 5 weeks ago she layed one egg (not in the nest and it was cracked) and has not layed since. Any ideas? Is there such thing as a hen that doesn't lay?

I suspect you have something eating them. It is not usual for a hen to lay one egg then stop. She is either hiding them from you or something is getting them before you.
