Hen laying smelly black slimy eggs

Can anyone help please over the last few days collecting my fresh eggs i noticed a few eggs when cracked open is black rotten and smells awful, i only have 4 hens so i am not sure which one is laying them, i feed them layers pellets, mixed corn, shells and a scoop of bran, i am so confused am i doing something wrong x
 
@melanie1953 Do you collect all eggs every single day?

Do you have a broody sitting? And do you have a rooster?

The only time I've experienced rotten eggs shortly after collection was when I had a rooster and broodies in hot summer weather so that fertilized eggs were starting incubation before they could be collected when I got home from work.

One of my broodies in that flock was a vicious protector of her nest so the child who was collecting eggs for me wouldn't go into her nest and she was also clever enough to hide eggs up under her wings until I learned to "pick her pockets" every time I collected the eggs.

The developing embryos then died and the eggs rotted rapidly.
