should have come back to this to say that she's worked it all out now and is laying perfect speckled brown eggs for me. I found the best trick for her was giving a wee bowl of almond milk to them to drink first thing in the morning really helped as I dont think she was self regulating the grit/shell on offer properly. She loves almond milk though.
