Hi there,
We have a broody leghorn. She's been incredibly persistent in her broodiness, so we've put some fertile eggs under her at midday yesterday.

This morning at 9 she was on the nest. I went to check her at 5 and she was on her old nest (we had moved her nest as she was in a bad spot).

The eggs were cold. It's summer here though, and about 24 degrees. We put her straight back on the nest, where she's stayed. So she was on the eggs for about 20 - 26 hours, then hopped off for 2 - 6 hours.

Does anyone have any idea if the eggs will still develop?
Thanks so much!

Most likely, they’ll be okay.
