The isa brown is at point of lay (not laying yet though I bought her from heritage hatchings and hens).
She has been this way for the past three weeks.
Some days it seems like she would be getting better but then the next day would be sleepy.
She also hides her head in her feathers. Her comb was always bent.
Her left eye was pretty bad and seems to be getting better slowly. I think she may lose her eye though due to the infection and scratching.
I'm thinking to give her the chop as that she has to many issues and don't want her to suffer.
What should I do?
I will post a photo tomorrow.

! Pleased you joined our flock but sorry to hear about your sick hen. I don't have much advice other than posting in the link below - someone should be able to give you some helpful advice. Good luck to you!

fowl pox can be treated successfully, if it hasn't gone on to long. It would be a shame to cull her, before some treatment is given a chance.

How would you treat fowl pox?
I think the fowl pox is pretty much gone ( we used mms on the black spots a few times and helped the spots go away.
As for her eye started bleeding today because of her heavy scratching of the area.
Please give me some info.
I had chickens before and I never had a problem! 15 in the flock with 4 roosters. Now only 4chooks that rant Laing yet.
Thank you look forward to some feed back.
Frank.
