One of my RIR girls is limping this morning. I see no injury such as a cut or anything. Sometimes she flies off the roosting bar so that vould be it. I palpated her entire right leg and she shows it hurts about 3-4 inches above her foot.
She's eating and pooping normally. Should I give it time and watch her??

Great information and I have another question. I put her in an open wire dog cage that is 30 inches long, 22" wide and 22" tall on the dirt floor so she's not on wire. No bar to perch on. Is the cage too big??
All I have besides that are cat carriers in which she could barely move turn around. I put Cinnamon in the cage in the coop that they all are kept in at night and covered the side that she can see out where everyone is.
Food and water is there for her. She seems fine but for the limp and we have reexamined her and only find the one spot that bothers her when pressing on the area. She is also a hen that her dropping get all over her feathers and Ive had to cut some off to clean her up.
Thanks again for the assist!!
The article suggested a 10 day rest period.
