Hen losing all her feathers

One of my 5 hens is going bald! I don’t see any indication of parasites or bullying, and overcrowding isn’t an issue. I’ve been keeping chickens for 6 years and I’ve never seen this happen. Help!

Looks like a massive, full blown molt to me. Lots of pin feathers coming in - I see no sign of feather pecking/plucking.

That’s a relief to hear. I’m so worried about her with winter coming and I’ve never seen such a molt!

My girls and boys are going through a bad moult this year, this is what I use. Also fish food, feathers are made of protein, so I mix some 46% fish food in with their pellets.

And if it gets too cold you an always put a heat lamp over her.
