Hen losing feathers around comb

I have a black sex link a little over a year old that is losing feathers around her comb. Besides that, she is acting fine and appears to be eating/drinking. I have a had a chicken molting before and don't think that's what this is.
Wondering if any one has an idea as to what's going on. Help is appreciated!

If you could post a clear, closeup pic it might help ID the cause.

Could be feather mites, could be another bird picking, could be rooster damage.

Whoa!! I am having the EXACT same problem. My red and black sex links have bald spots around their combs and they're also a little over a year old. They seem to be doing just fine, they're as energetic as ever. Do you think it could be the heat? I'm in Virginia and its been around 85F to 95F.

I HAVE A RHODE ISLAND RED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM SHE BEEN LIKE THAT FOR A FEW YEARS DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT ITS NOTHING

Maybe? We don't have much heat here, it's probably in the upper 70s, but my chickens have been panting. She's acting just fine, so I won't worry about it too much unless i have a reason to think otherwise. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they area high production breed?

I've got the same thing with a Buff Orpington but she is the lowest in the pecking order so I am guessing it might be her getting pecked on!
