hen losing feathers....????

i have a black sexlink hen that free-range and is losing feathers rapidly between her legs and going up her breast. she has not been roosting in her usual place on my porch. and she disappeared the other day. she is a little over 2 years old and this has never happened before. i imagine she is molting but i just want to be sure.

Yes she is probably molting. Make sure she has lots of protein and that she isn't being bullied.

okay. i will ask my mom to try to watch her when she can. cuz i am in school from 8:00-3:00.she is more of the bully to the other chickens lol.
