Hen Losing Weight

Are there any pigeon breeders in your area? If so, contact them, they might have Baytril or Cipro (Cipro is the human equivalent of Baytril).

I really hope it shows up today.  I'm not sure how much longer she'll last even with all the tube feeding.  She's super weak on her feet.

First night back in the coop.....she was not a happy camper. I really didn't want to put her out, but i think it's time. :/

It did not show up and unfortunately she passed away at about 9:30 last night we were not expecting that. I really thought she would make it. I heard her make a funny noise and went to check her. She was laying on her side, I put my hand on her and she let out her last breath.
I'm very glad to hear your hen is doing well and can join her friends. I want to thank you both for all your help we would not have got to this far without it. I learned a lot this past fee weeks.
Now I will think about all the what ifs, but at least next time (hope there's no next time) I will be more prepared.

Oooohhhh I'm so sorry Bay Bay. You gave her the best shot and if anything improved her health so she didn't have to suffer. My heart is heavy for you. Atleast now you will have baytril on hand just in case. Your words of encouragement helped me so much. Thank you. RIP sweet girl.

Thank you. I'm glad she's not suffering anymore, although I still feel like I failed her. I just really thought she was going to pull through. I will be much more prepared if something happens again here.
