I try to get twice a day with both water and food.

That actually doesn't look that green to me, but it does look a little slimy, like there's mucus in it? Can you get a picture of a fresh one?

It is slimy!! The picture of the small one I believe is the freshest. What can I do for slimy poop??

The pecking at air deal reminded me of one of my hens. What do her pupils look like? One of my hens developed very early cataracts and as a result she sometimes pecks blindly at any area that might have food until she gets it. She also is definitely on the lighter side compared to what she used to weigh.

Her pupils look normal, she does make contact with food when she wants too. She can see...I know that if one of my cats walks in to the area she's at she sounds the alarm. Thank you for the information. Why did your hen go blind?? Was it Mereks?

Yes!! She is healthier than before. I had my husband pick her (he doesn't pick her up as much as me) and he was in shock how much she gained. She is a little egg machine now, she laid 6 days in a row before she took a day break. She really is a different chicken now, it's amazing. She's my avatar picture.
