Let me know how it work, 'cause I've been meaning to try it.  Your other option would be to give her 1/4 a pill twice a day. It's a little more than she should have, but it should be safe.

The honey/water worked well. This is how I used to give it to my cat. It was a crushed up metronidazole with some nasty smelling liquid that allowed them to take the metronidazole....cuz it's nasty tasting. Lol. With my cat I believe I gave it to her for 7 days...same for a chicken???

I just have to remember to shake it otherwise the crushed up pill stays on the bottom.

Do you have on hand the websites to get the metronidazole from. I am determined to become a chicken pharmacy lol. Need to have this stuff on hand just incase. :cd

I'm just curious...how can they sell for use in fish?? Is it because it's not banned for fish?

That is so crazy to me. Fish metronidazole is the same as animal/human metronidazole. Same chemical formula. I could take it if I had too!! Lol. Sooooo crazy to me.
