my ex battery hen Maxi has been very different from all our other 12 since we first got her. first of all, when she walks , she lifts her feet right up to her head, how she got her name. also he has a very odd cluck, quite croaky, high pitched, but i have just noticed that when i pick her up and turn her round to check for bumblefoot, i kind of sounds like a whole lode of air instead of sound is coming out her mouth. also when i feed her corn from my hand she maked the same kind of sound, but a little spitty. its very hard to explain! otherwise she is acting like normal maxi. is this just her or something serious?
