So I don't see her do it when ik not near her but when I walk up she dose it when she's walking away or running non of my other hens do this im not sure she seems to be eating and drinking fine. I think she may have been the one laying soft eggs a couple of times in my coop. I hate to see her like this..

A video uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with a link posted here might help. But it sounds like she may be adjusting her crop if she is not doing it constantly. Feel of her crop in the right upper chest to see if it is full or empty, soft and puffy, doughy, or hard. In early morning, the crop should be empty and fill up gradually until bedtime.

How old is she? Has she always done this? I have rooster, about 5 years old, started doing something similar to this at about 6 months old. It's intermittent, never have been able to link it to any cause. He has always been fine other than this random head twitch thing. In my case, something neurological, no known cause. He has been able to eat and drink pretty normally, and do all his other rooster duties, so I haven't worried about it too much.

She's around 5 months. And I'm not sure when. It started as long as you move slow around her she doesn't do it its only when i walk up to her she's the only one in my flock who won't let me hold her with out a fight so I try to leave her alone as much as possible so I don't stress her out. She eats and drinks well she got stung in the face like 2 or 3 weeks ago but that healed fine. I was kinda thinking ether she can't see well or maybe something with her brain. I fed them cooked oats with flax m, chia seeds and blueberrys for breakfast hoping that will help boost there system.

I would agree that it looks like some neurological tic or something. Be sure to make sure that her chicken feed makes up 90% of her diet, since that has all of the nutrients she needs. I would skip the cooked oats, but the other things sound okay.

If she's only doing it when you are stalking walking up to her, then likely it's a defensive/stress response to you. She's very wary of where you are in the video.

I would make sure she's eating her normal nutritionally balanced feed, provide oyster shell free choice. Cut out the oatmeal, seeds, etc. A small daily treat is o.k. but I think I would offer extra protein like eggs, meat or fish.

Yes she dose not like any human contact so I mostly just leave her be. I will try the eggs and fish what fish do you recommend? And raw or cooked? Thank you so much!
