hen not eating oyster shells

i have 1 silkie hen living with a few chicks and a few days ago she just started laying. i cant feed her any layer feed because i dont want the chicks to eat it so i have everyone on grower and i provide a box of oyster shells for my hen. she doesn't eat any of the oyster shells but her eggs had normal shells. so do you think she will be ok on grower feed even if she doesn't eat any extra calcium?

She'll probably eat some oyster shells when she needs them. Don't worry too much unless her eggs start having soft shells.
