Hen not fully recovering from unknown illness

You may have noticed my location...I would not advise using heat on them again. We do not get cold enough to need added heat for our birds down here.

I thought I’d read on here several times to keep them warm during illness. It’s an ecoglow so it’s radiant heat and I doubt puts out much at all - it’s for chicks to sit under.

Proper feed/feeding goes a long way for good health. I highly recommend a necropsy for the next bird you lose. Highly recommend it for peace of mind.

Thanks. I thought I was giving the best with the organic layer feed but have now switched to pellets. Other than that they do not get much treats regularly, just mealworms when we need to get them back in the coop.

Never laying an egg is a huge problem Imo, probably not one that you can necessarily fix, but that's what hens do...lay eggs.
I really feel bad that you have two so poorly. I wish I could give you better advice but I don't think it's going to be a good outcome.
