I have a 14 month old Golden Comet hen who was the runt when we got her, she had pasty butt and it was touch and go for a while but she soon became "Tinkerbelle the wonderchick" as she started laying the earliest and she put out many large and double yolk eggs. 3 months ago our daily production went down y 1 egg a day and I have figured out it is Tinkerbelle.
She looks and acts healthy otherwise, fully feathered , actually the best feathers of all, my rooster has torn up the backs and sholders of al lthe other girls to varying degrees but Tinkerbelle has managed to elude him, even though he chases her just like the other hens. She eats, drinks and poops normally and seems happy and healthy, she has just stopped laying or drastically slowed down to possibly one egg a week for the last 3 months. Does anyone have any suggestions
