I have 12 chickens of different breeds, one is a 26 week old hen and the rest are about 13 weeks old. I am not sure what breed my 26 week old hen is but she is still not laying...any ideas?
She has plenty of access to water, oyster shells, layer feed, etc. All the chickens share one coop so I am sure she also eats chick feed from time to time. I have seen her hang out in the coop and poke around the nest boxes but no eggs. We live on 6 acres of woods and my concern is that she has or will start laying somewhere in the woods and I'm unlikely to ever find the eggs.
