hen not laying

i got three hens from a friend that were already laying. on the day i got them all three laid a egg in the create while being transported to my home. that has been 3 months ago.two are laying on a regular basis.one has not laid an egg seince then. any help why this may be.?

Were they all laying before the move if they were.
Sounds like just the trauma of the move some handle it better than others.

Could have to do with the amount of light they are geting, could have something to do with the age of the birds

Since you just recently got them, the could be stressed from their move and new home, perhaps once they settle in they'll start laying for you.

After three months they should have settled in. If you are getting one or two eggs a day and they are older hens then they may all be laying, just not everyone laying on the same day. And yes some do take their good old time settling in and starting back up.

After 5 months that hen has started laying . Guess it takes some longer to settle in than others. . If it won't for my wife she probably would have been dinner by now.
