Hen not moving much

I didn’t get a picture, but he dug under where our coop was and got into the run under the coop. He murdered one outside before getting locked in the coop because it has a daylight sensor on the door that shuts at a certain time. (we already adjusted it to shut earlier now) And he killed another two inside the coop. He escaped by biting through a 6 inch by 12 inch space that was blocked off with heavy duty fencing for ventilation. It really made me upset that he took 2 and killed the other two and left their bodies for no reason.
I'm really curious about what size and shape of fencing you used for both as an anti-dig apron and also where it escaped.

I’m not home atm but when I get home I’ll send a few images.

We’ve just replaced the in ground apron and covered it, so i don’t have a picture. The images are where the coon ended up breaking out of.

Could I give her a lemon powder that has citric acid, lemon oil, and lemon juice in it for their water?
Get her some poultry electrolytes....like Sav-A-Chick electrolytes and vitamins.
Or some Gatorade.
Offer this in a separate container.....with their regular waterer there too.

Don't think citric acid would have the same affect.

Also, Ice cubes in their water, and some colorful frozen treats are very good at beating the heat. Watermelon, blueberries strawberries, and bananas do nicely.
