Hen on deaths doorstep another close behind

Also look for a source of poison's they could have gotten into. Including fertilizer and weed killers on your lawn. Also check you feed. Does it smell normal? does it look bright and like it usually does? I once got a bag of feed that had black mold near the bottom. Aflatoxin killed a lot of young birds and my dog because she liked to eat spilled feed.

Without seeing them in person, it doesn't sound disease related, that does not mean it can't be. But it sounds more like botulism / poisoning / venom related. Also check for mites.

An update for anyone still interested all of the sick ones have died. The hen with a sprained leg didn't have a sprained leg. And another one got sick and rapidly declined. All 4 of them died. And a 5th one is now sick with similar symptoms and going downhill rapidly. On a more positive note the injured brahma rooster is getting better still limps but is better then he was.

I am so, so sorry... You may want to send one in for necropsy so you can find out what's going on. My heart hurts for you.
:hugs
If the current sick one dies i probably will.
I'm starting to get worried about the bird flu. I've made a symtom list from all of them. They start by seeming a little off then they get nasty diarrhea, stop eating an drinking, stumble. One had difficulty swallowing water, non stop panting, wheezing, ruffled feathers, extreme weight loss and muscle atrophy, and prob some other things im forgeting

That's so awful. You are being very responsible about it. If you think it's flu, you can probably call the state, and they will test asap.

Agree. You can get fre testing now because of AI. If it is that, although you lose your whole flock, I believe the disinfect everything for you and tell you when you are clear to have birds again. Keeping you in my thoughts. What a terrible thing to deal with, regardless of what it is. 😞
