hen on nest of 6 eggs

we bought 12 eggs for our broody hen. she has been sitting on 6 for 21 days yesterday but no sign of hatching. she is in a cage away from the other hens. we have candled the eggs and all are dark with an air space. how many days should we wait yet? first time we have had baby chicks.

What happened to the other 6 eggs?

We found a cracked one at day 14 (with a chick in it) and candled the others and found 5 that were not fertile. We moved her due to the broken egg because the other hens were laying their eggs in by her. Thanks.

I've had them go as long as 24 days under a broody.

If none stink, I'd just wait. She'll probably eventually abandon them if they don't hatch.

Thank you. Makes me feel better cause I really want a couple of them to hatch out. No they don't stink and she hasn't left the nest
in over a week. Hopefully by the weeks end she will have chicks.
