So the whole incubator thing is not going well for me. 7 of 7 frizzles dead. of the 28 eggs that are supposed to be going in the hatcher tomorrow only one looks promising. I have 6 others at 10 days that look ok so far but hey I can still screw this up.
I have some sassy silkies coming I don't want another 0 hatch. I have a frizzle cochin that goes broody at the drop of a hat. should I try giving these to her. should I " bait Her" with some other eggs and give her 48 hrs or so and see If she goes broody. I think I might bring her in to the basement to do this. If we have another cold snap eggs could freeze. breaking the NO CHICKENS in the house rule here. Hubby has been known to bring them in the house too.
