Hen or roo? Barred Rocks

Hi!

My chicks are 17 days old.
Can someone please tell me if the one on the single pics is a roo?

And can anyone take a guess from the other picture if there's just one hen? One is better than none.

An accurate way of sexing Barred rocks is to look at their leg color.

Cockerels with have little to no dark wash on their legs.

Females will have dark legs, or a large amount of dark wash.
 
Sorry! I keep on forgetting that this is an American page. I'm in New Zealand, haha. So TradeMe is our home equivalent of ebay.

It's the middle of winter here. You've got summer, right? I heard you will get a lot more roos in winter than hens...so probably that's true?
