I've got two in question, even though I bought sexed chicks from My Pet Chicken. I can't have a rooster where I live! First one is 7 weeks old Light Brahma.

Light Brahma is a definite cockerel. As far as the Sussex, I'm also leaning towards cockerel for now, but time will tell for sure. :) That's quite the comb. Would you be able to update us on that one?

Side note: the "pointy feathers" principle only applies at 12 or so weeks (give or take a little), so we'll have to wait a little while before those start showing up. :D

Hi all - confirming that my Light Brahma "Ruth" is now "Ruthster". Been crowing tons at his new home. The jury's still out on my Speckled Sussex, though. Fingers crossed that only one of my six from My Pet Chicken was wrong.
