Comb is still fairly pale but that's a lot of growth for 5 weeks. . . I'm on the fence with this one. I honestly wouldn't commit either way pullet/cockerel right now.
Thanks for the info I was shocked with the size as well, im crossing my fingers for a hen. This one is the tamest sweetest of the bunch so far!

While your little ones comb is somewhat prominent, it is still very pale and flesh toned and I'm not seeing significant wattle development. That being said, a head shot is not the entirety of sexing a chick at this age, so a full body side profile shot of the bird in a natural standing position would be very helpful. What can be seen from this angle is not screaming cockerel.

That is alot of comb for 5 weeks, keep an eye on it, if it starts going red and the wattles start dropping in the next few weeks you more than likely have a cockerel
