hen or roo? (pics)

Hello everyone!

This is nugget, one of 6 ameraucana pullets we got about 5 weeks ago. She always had a bigger comb than the rest so we were thinking from about week 2 she may be a he. Now she's getting red waddles and red on her face. Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

Your bird is very pretty. It its not, however an Ameraucana, but mix breed, likely an Easter Egger. Ameraucanas have pea combs and muffs. Hope it is a hen.

I had doubts about the breed. No worries though, we've got a lovely group of girls (I hope). We love em all the same.
