Hen or roo? Please help.

I'm pretty sure its a roo but this is my first time raising and owning chickens. Roosters are not allowed in the city I live. I just want to make sure before I give him away.

About 5 months. I got them the first week of Febuary and I believe they were a few days old when I got them.

Then that is a pullet. She will be laying soon.

Here's a picture of her sibling. Their combs are different. The first one has a brighter and larger comb.

The first one is just maturing faster. Just like with humans, they don't all hit puberty at the exact same moment.

Yes that is a pullet. My barred rock hens looked like that when they were young.
