Help! Anyone have any thoughts on whether this Americauna is a Roo or a hen? SHE has been named Hazel so hopefully she can keep Her name!

Collect eggs every day. If a pullet or hen goes broody break them of it immediately and they'll go back to laying sooner. If you let a bird stay broody it takes weeks to get back to laying and brooding on infertile eggs is harming health for no reason. Small kennels or cages work well to break a broody. No bedding and out in the middle of run for sunlight for 2 to 3 days and she'll be broken and back to laying in a few days.

You'll not notice any difference with fertile eggs and if collected every day will never start to incubate. And yes, Hans will make the eggs fertile.
