This has to be a rooster right? It was from a straight run batch. The comb is soooo red. I don't know the age, because I got this Chick a little older.. But my other chicks of similar age, (different breed) have not started with the red colored comb yet. Am I right or is this a Hen? Are sebrights just different?

Sebright roosters have what is called "hen feathering", meaning the roosters don't have the normal rooster feathers (long, shiny feathers at the base of the neck and tail, and long sickle feathers that curl over the tail). Because of this, they seem to be very difficult to sex. However, the redness of the comb may mean it is a cockerel, although with their small rose combs, again, it can be difficult. So for now, I would say possibly cockerel, but you really won't know for sure until you hear crowing or see an egg.

Is that big white chicken mama bird or are you keeping them in cages together?

Hard to tell. Some hens have darker combs though the redness of it MAY suggest cockerel. All roosters crow at different ages. My 3 month old GLW rooster has not tried to crow yet, some crow as early as 3 days I've heard.

I see. Unfortunately in don't know the Age of this fella , as I got them from tsc when they were older than day old chicks. I wanna say maybe they were a week old when I got them ? But not sure. Guess I'll just have to play the waiting game .

Age is kind of important, especially since bantams develop so quickly. I would guess this is a cockerel because of the largish red comb-- pullets usually have small, dark or mulberry colored combs. I don't see wattle development yet, but if that comes soon, then probably a cockerel.
I thought the same thing but was thrown off by the lack of waddles.
