Hen or Roo?

I have what i thought was(and still hope is) a hen. But today i got a very loud sound coming out of it. While it did not sound like a regular rooster crowing it was just very loud but sounded low and kind of gutteral like a peacock. Im new to this so im hopeing someone can tell me a bit about it. She is still too young to lay so i cant tell that way.

How old is she? It looks like a rooster but it could just be a hen near laying. Did you see it crow? Or did you just here a crow? If you saw it crow then it is a rooster.
