Hen or roo?

I have this chicken not real sure if it’s a roo or not. It is so sweet I hope it’s not a roo. I have been real adamant about not having a roo.

It’s a hen. Probably close to start laying soon. I’m also guessing she’s a red sex link - could you post pics of her body?

How can you tell if she is about ready to lay? I am such a novice at this

Comb and wattles getting that big and red at 4- 5 months old. Shes near ready to start laying.

Yup a Red sex link, what I suspected. She would start to lay soon due to the bright redness to her comb and wattles plus also the size of such for a female her age.
