Hen or Roo?

Welcome to another exciting game of "is it a roo?"

Todays contestants are barnyard mix.. Most are from "EE" hens (so who really knows!), and all were fathered by a Silkie/Silver-Laced Wyandotte Roo.

#1 - "The Grump"

This one stands up its neckfeathers at other chickens A LOT. Pretty sure it's a roo.

#2 - "Eyebrows"

This is the sweetest one..

#3 - "Yell" (this has got to be a Rooster)

Pretty sure on this one..

Bonus content.. All my kids from that hatch..

My fluffy solid gray and solid white pullets from that hatch are pretty nifty beside all that lacing. It also produced a solid black with a silver laced belly.

I’m usually pretty good at this game but not sure on any. I do know one thing #3 “yell” is one ugly chicken.

The gray in the back is a Sapphire Gem "pullet".. Wish they bred true!
