So another thing to keep in mind: pullets do not display red combs until they start laying at around 5-8 month of age, depending on breed and upbringing.they are about 4 months now.
thank you so much for telling me! So these are 100% roosters then? Do you tell just by the tail feathers? I know they seemed big...the heads are larger than from the pictures Ive seen of hens.Well, that's another one who got rid of his unwanted cockerels selling them to an unsuspecting beginner.
With almost all barred breeds you can tell the sex right from the day they hatch.
