My speckled Sussex cockerel was very obviously a boy by 16 weeks. Hackles, saddles, sickles, and crowing by 17 weeks. Also his comb was huge as were his waddles. Your gal looks nothing like him.

It has all rooster traits. The tail feathers all the shininess on the body and neck feathers. Pointy feathers more on the neck and the tail feathers are starting to curl over. I'd just get a rooster collar when he starts crowing. Have a look at 2 pics of a rooster and hen speckled susexx
Sorry, but I agree with Sourland. There aren't any pointy feathers there and no male feathering. My pullets have some tail feathers like that.It has all rooster traits. It is not male.The speckled Sussex. Is definitely 100% a rooster. Has every rooster look. Definitely not a hen.
